Question

Anyone who has Polly- what's her body like? We don't have any Bitties, so a comparison to the Bitties won't really help me.

My 8 year old is really liking the looks of Polly and her cradle, and I'm trying to decide if it's worth the money. Anyone who has seen it in real life at the store or, better yet, has it please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

I haven't seen her yet either, but I just love her and her cradle. And both of my dds have put her at the top of their Christmas lists! (one dd will change her name to make her Samantha's little sis). I am so thrilled with the cradle. And the doll looks from the pictures to be even cuter than Bitty Baby.

My dds have been playing a lot with their Cuddlys (smaller sized dolls with realistic faces, but bean bag bodies from My Twinn) and they really seem to have fun with the smaller sized doll, so I think they will love Baby Polly, too.

Hope you get some reviews from someone who's seen them.

Polly is just darling! The quality of this set is very good. Her dress is very fancy and well done. The cradle also is just darling and constructed well. It is the most "heirloom-ish" item we have bought since Sam's Sleigh last year. Polly is just a mini Bitty, but her eyes are painted. I bought this for Nicki for Christmas because I was afraid it might be sold out closer to Christmas, and it just came yesterday. I love it-I think it is adorable and very well made. The cradle is darker than I expected-I thought it would be the same color as her table/clothes press, but it is even darker than her desk. Polly is adorable and her gown is cute and very well made. I would definitely give it 2 s up. (and the 10% off with the code helped too. )

Thanks, Shelly. I was wondering the same thing myself. I think Polly and her cradle look adorable from the pictures. It's nice to get a first hand review.

Glad you like Polly, too, mandasmom. We must have been replying at the same time, LOL.

Thanks for your help, but I'm wondering what the body is like? Is it a cloth body with plastic arms and legs? I'm wondering if other baby doll clothes might fit it, in case she wants her to be Kim's (her AGT) little sister instead of Kirsten's? Thanks in advance for any more info!

Sorry-missed that part of the question. Yes, her arms and legs are plastic and the body is cloth. I would think that you could find some modern baby doll clothes to put on her, and the cradle could be a family heirloom.

I received this last week and I love it too. The cradle is made of very high quality wood, same color as Felicity's furniture I think. The only thing I didn't like is Polly's eyes. I wish they made her eyes open & close just like AG dolls. but she has open eyes.

Do either of these dolls have hair? If so what color?
I bet that AG will use this doll again for Britta ( kirsten's sister) and for Cornelias baby ( Samantha )
